I recently saw pictures of Cher & Sunny Bono’s daughter Chastity turned male Chaz. Noting that she/he is still in a relationship with the girl she/he had when she/he was a she.
So I am curious.. if you have a lesbian couple, and one changes into a male, does that make the partner who stayed their birth-sex now a heterosexual?
Or.. should those who change from a she to a he, or he to a she.. should they be called an it instead?
When it comes to gay marriage, if in the case of the she/he Chaz/Chastity Bono.. now that she is a he, if she/he chooses to marry her/his former lesbian lover, is that relationship now recognized as a marriage between opposite sex, or would it still be considered a gay-marriage?
If a sex-change is the gay-marriage loop-hole, isn’t that a bit of a huge leap to make to just get around limitations of recognized relationships?
I am also curious.. why is there a name for a same-sex girl relationship, lesbian, but a same-sex guy relationship is just referred to as gay, but a same-sex girl relationship can also be gay. Isn’t that perplexing?
Ok that is my bizarre thought for the day.
